Left a waxy residue I couldn't wash out

I love Ecoslay products. Orange Marmalade and Rice Pudding are my holy grail. But this hair wash was a total disaster. There was no lather at all and it coated my hair in a waxy soapy residue that no amount of washing would get rid of. I ended up having to clarify and start again.

Dry scalp? This is for you!

I always apply oil on my scalp after washing my hair but with this shampoo I didn't have to (it comes packed with oils). Lather only lasts 2 seconds, it's very runny and it leaves that waxy black soap feeling for as long as it's wet. But I haven't scratched my head once in 2 days, I'm not afraid to use it and black soap is excellent for hair growth so... it's a win-win!
